Status Guide

Basics

The purpose of this guide is to help joiners navigate the Status spreadsheet to check the current status of their own orders.

This spreadsheet is best viewed in desktop mode and the full spreadsheet functions can be accessed if you open it in a new Google Sheets tab. To do this, hover over the spreadsheet until a grey box appears at the right-hand corner, and then click on the grey box.

Numbering system

Every group order starting from November 2020 has a corresponding 4-digit number. This number is the first four digits of the 'SKU' number in your order confirmation e-mail.

This 4-digit SKU number is always listed in Column A of the spreadsheet.

In general, the first digit of each group order number is associated to a fandom: 1 - MDZS, 2 - TGCF, 3 - SVSSS, 4 - CQL, 5 - Other fandoms and C-Entertainment etc., 6 - SHL.

*If you ordered a Special Order item (SKU beginning with '8'), there is no detailed tracking available on the Status spreadsheet.

Column headings

  • Catalogue Link - Each group order will have an archived listing on the catalogue and you can follow the link to see photos, prices and details about the group order

  • Part - When group orders with the same SKU are released separately by the seller, the group order will be broken out into 2 or more rows. Please check the 'Notes' column of each row to see what items are in each part

  • Estimated release - The approximate date that the seller said they would ship out a pre-order item. This date may change depending on new information provided by the seller

  • Expected arrival - The approximate date that the group order is projected to arrive at my address. Projections are based on historical delivery times and is NOT a guarantee. Some packages in transit may experience delays that I have no control over, e.g. customs clearance, weather conditions, pandemic impacts etc.

  • Date updated - This represents the last time the spreadsheet was updated for the group order in question

  • Notes - Important notes and new information about releases and issues are noted here

Sections and colours

The colour of the cells in Column A represent the current status of each group order:

  • Red - open orders

  • Orange - closed orders

  • Yellow - waiting for seller to release the items

  • Green - arrived at the China address

  • Blue - in transit to Canada address

  • Purple - arrived at Canada address

  • Turquoise - shipped to your address

Group orders whose names are in purple font represent those that have been split into parts due to the store releasing the items at different times. The 'Notes' section on the right will usually have details about the items included in each part.

Personal Order Tracker

If you've joined a lot of group orders and want to keep track of everything in your own spreadsheet, I highly recommend using the Personal Tracker Template. Just go to the 'Instructions' tab to get started!

This method will require some data entry and you'll also have to copy and paste some cells, so you might find more convenient on a tablet or desktop.

Filter Function

If you prefer viewing the status of your orders directly on the Status spreadsheet, you can use the filter function.

Step 1

Make a list of the group order numbers for all the group orders you joined.

  • If you placed an order after July 2021, you can find the number in the 'SKU' part of your 'My Account' or order confirmation e-mail.

  • If you placed an order before July 2021, you can search for the group order number using the item name and CTRL + F on the 'Group Order Numbers' tab of the Order Status spreadsheet.

Step 2

Go to the Order Status page and open the spreadsheet in a new tab by selecting the square at the top right-hand side of the spreadsheet.

In the new window, select all cells by clicking the empty square at the top left of the worksheet, to the left of the column letters and above the row numbers.

Step 3

Click on the filter button and select 'Create new temporary filter view'. The top border of the spreadsheet should turn black to indicate that you're now in the filter view.

Step 4

Select the 3 horizontal bars at the bottom right of the 'SKU' cell and then select 'Clear'.

Step 5

In the search box of the dropdown, type in your group number and either hit 'Enter' or click the number to select it (there will be a checkmark on the left when it's been selected). To add a another group number, just hit backspace to delete the first one you typed and then type in the new one (remember to select it once you pull it up).

When you've entered all the numbers you need, click the 'OK' button.

You should now see a filtered list of the selected group orders.

For this example, I used the filter for the MDZS and TGCF Minidoll Full Size Plush Dolls (group numbers 1007 and 2008).

As shown above, the MDZS one in yellow has not been released by the seller yet. The TGCF one is showing 3 separate rows as the group order was split into parts - the yellow row represents the part that the seller has not released, and the green represents the parts that have arrived at the Chinese address.
