Basics

All orders must be submitted through the standalone Order Site: https://www.shandian.ca/

The 4 types of group orders are organized in separate categories, which can be found at the horizontal navigation bar at the top. Here's a refresher on the 4 types:

Reminders

  • You may only submit 1 order for each unique item - if you've ordered an item already, please don't order the same item again

  • The maximum quantity of unique items allowed per joiner is:

    • 2 per joiner: Pre-order & On-going Order items

    • 1 per joiner: Special Orders & In Stock items

  • Please remember to use the e-mail address and username on your registration form

  • Prices listed are for the first payment only. A second payment for the shipping cost will be required at a later date

  • All first payments are due on Saturday at 9:00 PM EST

Step-by-step instructions

Step 1 - Select 'My Account' at the bottom of the home page. Enter your registration e-mail address - even if you've never placed an order before - and select 'Get Sign-In Link'.

An automated e-mail will be sent to your inbox with a link to sign in. It should look something like this:

Step 2 - Once you're logged in, use the horizontal navigation bar to go to the category of the item you want to order. We'll use 'Pre-Orders' for this example.

Step 3 - Select the item you want, open up the listing and select 'Add to Cart'. To increase the quantity for an item, select ‘Add more’.

To add other items to your Cart, use the back button to return to the categories page or select 'Home' to return to the main page.

Step 4 - When you are ready to finalize your order, select 'Go to Checkout'.

Review your order summary on the left and check that the item name and quantity is correct. Select the checkbox and then select ‘Checkout’.

Step 5 - Select your preferred payment method and enter your registration username in the Notes section, then select ‘Place Order’.

Step 6 - An automated e-mail will be sent to you with your order summary, your total for the first payment. Please follow the payment instructions and transfer your first payment by Saturday at 9:00 PM EST.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to set up a password for My Account?

No, the site doesn't require a password! Whenever you need to sign in, just go to 'My Account', enter your e-mail address, and check your inbox for the sign-in link.

How will I know if my order went through?

You'll receive an automated e-mail with a summary of the items you ordered every time your order is submitted successfully.

If you don't receive this e-mail, it's likely that you entered an incorrect e-mail address. Please send me an e-mail to confirm if that's the case.

If I submitted more than one order in the same week and opted to pay by E-Transfer, can I combine the totals into one transfer?

Yes, you may add up the totals yourself and send 1 transfer, but must do so by the deadline (Saturday at 9:00 PM EST).

How do I redeem a discount coupon code?

Before you check out (Step 4), there's a line under your order summary on the left that says 'Redeem your coupon'. Enter you coupon code here and then select 'Apply', and your total should be adjusted automatically.

Please keep in mind that coupon codes are only applicable for Pre-Orders and Ongoing Orders.

Why does my order still say 'Awaiting Processing' in my 'Track Orders'?

This function is not available in 'My Account' so please check for the status of your items on the Status page.
